Deactivated Steyr M1909 Pocket Pistol

This is an Austrian made Oesterr Waffenfabriks-Ges Steyr Pieper Pocket Pistol, model 1909 chambered in .25. These superbly built little pistols were a favorite pocket pistol for Austro-Hungarian Military officers and Police departments. Production started in 1909 and ceased in 1915 during WWI. 1919 saw production resume. This fine example was made in 1919 can be dated by the number 19 (1919) stamped on the left side of the barrel. Deactivated with a working action.
