Deactivated Sauer M1913 Pistol

This is a J.P. Sauer and Suhl Model 1913 third variant pistol. The M1913 was a very successful model for Sauer first being procured by the Imperial German army throughout WW1. Those that survived the Great War were in service again with the Weimar republic and then with Nazi's. Superbly engineered and made to a very high standard they are were chambered in 7.65mm, a calibre widely used by the German military and police units. Deactivated with a working action.
