Deactivated Russian SKS Assault Rifle Dated 1951

This is an early production Russian made SKS rifle dated 1951. Designed during WW2, this carbine was the for runner to the legendary Kalashnikov AK47 First introduced in 1949, this example is from the only the third year of production. It was made by Tula and is in great condition with all matching numbers, has crisp bluing to the finish and is fitted with its integral folding bayonet. The SKS was supplied to many other Communist states seeing prolfic use during the Vietnam war. They are still used for ceremonial purposes and continue in service with many countries today.
