Deactivated Rare Dutch Police Revolver

This is a rare Dutch Police "Kobold" 5 shot revolver, chambered in 9.4mm. Although referred to as a police revolver they were issued to Dutch customs, tax collectors, bailiffs as well as military personnel. The top strap reads "Ned. Wapenmagazijim Haarlem S'Hage" and the barrel has the inventory number A4 stamped on it. The revolver has a very low serial number and is no 8. It is a beautifully made revolver and has a unique hammer safety. The lanyard ring is attached to a rod within the pistol grip that rotates 90 degress on a cam to lock the hammer thus preventing accidential firing.
