Deactivated Pre WW1 Browning FN Model 1900

This Browning FN Model 1900 pistol dates to just before the outbreak of the First World War. The FN factory reached serial number 724,550 by 1914. This pistol is number 691,926, just 32,624 before production ceased dating it to circa 1912-13. A great many of these pistols were issued into military service with the Belgium army but were also purchased prior to WWI by the French, Austro-Hungarian's, Germany and Russia. The Model 1900 was a very successful model being well made and chambered in 7.65mm, the preferred military and police calibre of the period. This example has all visible matching and has been deactivated very sympathetically with a working action.
