Deactivated Lee Enfield No5 Jungle Carbine

This Lee Enfield No5 Jungle Carbine is from the very last batch ever made. The serial number batch starting with AC were the last batch of guns made by ROF Fazakerley  in 1947 before production ceased. The No5 is one of the raest of the Lee Enfield production rifles only being made from 1944 until 1947 with just over 251,300 made in total and 169,800 or so made by ROF Fazakerley. This example has all visible numbers are matching and is fitted with the correct rear sights and lighened bolt. Deactivated with a working action.
