Deactivated German Sauer M1919

This model of the M1919 was first introduced by Sauer in the early 1920s. Due to restrictions of the Versailles treaty imposed on Germany after WWI and the subsequent boom in small frame vest pocket pistols, Sauer & Sohn reduced the size of the Model 1913 and adapted it for the popular 6.35mm (.25 ACP) cartridge. This is a very early first variant of this model. Serial numbers ran from 1 to 30,200 with this pistol being number 7,633rd.
