Deactivated Czech CZ27 Pistol

This is a Czech made CZ27 that was made just after WWII in 1947. The frame is marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" and the serial number is in the 56,0000 range. This indicates that it was most likely made for export to the US. Similar examples are known to have been part of this US contract. The one-off grips are custom made from Mother of Pearl. The design is indentical to the wartime production pistols and this example has matching numbers to frame and slide. Deactivated to current specifications with moving hammer, trigger and slide. The magazine is removable.
