Deactivated Colt Detective .38 Revolver

This is a superb conditon US manufactured Colt Detective Special .38 Snub Nose Revolver. In lovely condition throughout. As the name suggests it was aimed at the US plain clothes or uncover police detectives as a concealment weapon, and with only a two inch barrel it was ideal. According to Colt's serial number data base this lovely example dates to 1984 production. This model has been used  in countless movies and TV programs including Beverley Hills Cop, Magnum P.I., The A-Team and 007 movies including You Only Live Twice to name but just a few.  Deactivated with a working action.
