Deactivated Cold War Polish PPS-43

This is a superb Cold war era PPS43 (Pistolet-Pulemet Sudaeva, model of 1943 = Sudaev SMG) dated 1950 with its original matching bolt. The PPS43 was conceived during WWII with the emphasis on simplifying production and eliminating most machining operations. This example was made by the Polish magazine factory Zaklady Metalowe Wifama in Lódz, and is marked with the encircled 12 factory code forward of the rear siight.
Deactivated with tensioned bolt / cocking lever that returns under spring pressure. It is partially strippable.
