A superb example of the legendary Winchester Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine by Chaparrel. The Winchester model 1873 is often referred to as the rifle that won the wild west. Its innovative design gave the user the ability to repeat rapid firing at great speed. The .45 cartridge was also very powerful and more than capable of taking down several "gun slingers or bandits" in one go!!! This carbine variant has a 19 inch barrel and must have had a fairly hefty kick firing the Colt .45 rounds!!! The receiver, hammer, trigger and butt-plate have a beautiful case hardened finish.
