Deactivated Armstrong Double Barrel Shotgun

This is a British made Armstrong & Co Newcastle On Tyne, Double Barrel Shotgun. Armstrong & Co were established in about 1890 at 10 Neville Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Around 1890 they moved to 5 Collingwood Street, and around 1900 to 115 & 117 Northumberland Street. From about 1905 to 1918 the firm occupied 115 Northumberland Street. They described themselves as gun, rifle and breech-loader manufacturers with an appointment to the Prince of Wales. This lovely shotgun features twin Damascus barrels, hand engraved locks, hammers, trigger guard and body. With finely hand chequered foregrip and stock. Deactivated with a working action.
