This is a superb WWII Russian PPSH4, dated 1944 with all matching numbers. The factory symbol markings (Star within a shield) indicate that it was made at the Molot Hammer Factory No367. However this has been over stamped with a letter B which is believed to be that of Voskov Instrument factory in Leningrad where it was most likely repaired. The PPSH is one of the most iconic machine guns of world war two, instantly recognizable with its drum magazine and short chunky appearance. During WWII, if captured by German forces, the PPSH41 was often used as a preferred weapon of choice. Simple and clever design meant it could be manufactured quickly and in large numbers, plus it worked in all environments and needed little maintenance. Comes fitted with an original wartime leather sling and 72 round drum magazine containing inert 7.62mm rounds. Deactivated to current specifications with moving bolt and trigger. The bolt can be held in the safe position and will return under spring tension. The magazine can be moved.

This PPSH is available and is currently at the proof house being certificated.
