Deactivated 1941 Dated Enfield Bren MKI

This is a Second World War dated British manufactured Bren MKI. Dated 1941, it was manufactured at the Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield. Production post Dunkirk was still relativerly low, it wasnt until 1942 that saw large quantities leave the Enfield factory. The Bren is still considered to be one of the best machine guns of its type being used on all fronts from, Europe, The Middle East and Asia. This example has matching numbers to the receiver, trigger assembly and barrel release catch. The electro-stenciled numbers indicate that this Bren saw service and was subject to repair. It still retains the correct humped stock, dial sight and extendable bipod legs. Deactivated with a working action.
