A rare and original WWII era German Walther Model V (5) .22 bolt action rifle, circa mid to late 1930s. These rifles were used by German paramilitary groups such as Hitler Youth organisations to train young men in all aspects of rifle handling and marksmanship before and during the Second World War. The design is similar to the K98 carbine which was then the standard military "rifle" of the German army. They were also used to arm the peoples militia or Volkssturm as part of Hitlers last ditch effort in defending Germany before it fell to the Allies. The rifle is still in its original configuration but was also once fitted with a scope.
Deactivated to current specifications with a moving bolt action and trigger.
