Deactivated MG42 Barrel BNZ 1943

This is a scarce Steyr manufactured MG42 barrel. Early Steyr manufactured MG42's are among the rariest as so few were made. This barrel is from only their second year of production. The various serial numbers all indicate this to be an early 1943 barrel. It bears the correct military acceptance WaA623 and bnz shield logo. Included are the production figures from the MG42 bible by Folke Myrvang "MG34-MG42 German Universal Machineguns".
