Deactivated Mauser M1914 7.65mm Pistol

This is a Mauser Model 1914 or 7.65mm model. Often referred to as a Model 1934, this is not a date designation that most other weapons are often named after. Mauser first started using the 34 designation on the model 1910/34 in the 1920s, the smaller variant chambered in 6.35mm. This is the 7.65mm model a slightly larger scaled up version. It was first introduced in 1912 and was produced until 1941, being procured by the Germans in both world wars. This pistol has all visible matching numbers, Bakelite grips and the correct Mauser banner magazine. It dates to the mid 1920s and looks to have been in service and now has a lovely even patina to the finish. Deactivated with a working action.
