Antique Obsolete Calibre Muzzle Loading Musket

This is a muzzle loading percussion musket / shotgun. With no obvious maker markings it looks to be European or English in style with chequered pistol and fore grips and brass cappings. These types of guns were common place on wealthy land owners estates back in the 1800 and 1900s used for game shooting and pest control. The bore size measures just over 15mm around .590. This example would be an ideal display peice.

Chambered in an obsolete calibre, it can be owned live without any form of license. It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
