Deactivated 1942 Dated Long Branch No4 Rifle

This is an early production Lend Lease, Canadian manufactured Lee Enfield No4 MKI* rifle. It was made in 1942 by Long Branch and has an early and low serial number of 2L1930. Long Branch first started making the No4 rifle in 1941 starting with serial number 0L0001. The stock markings look to be "K A  2.43", this is most likely an abbreviation for the unit or regiment it was issued to followed by the date. Possible, Kings Africa rifles February 1943 ? The Lend Lease No4's were issued far and wide within the Commonwealth armed forces seeing service all over the world during the war. Deactivated with a working action.
