A rare military marked V&R Blakemore, Birmingham & London, muzzle loading smooth bore percussion musket. It is chambered in a massive .75, a British military calibre of this period. The underside of the barrel is marked Enfield. The lock has a crown and broad arrow with the makers name and on the back are British military inspectors stamps. The barrel has Birmingham proofs and the armorers mating marks are present on lock and barrel. Still in excellent condition with both sling hoops and ram rod. it it has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
