A superb looking old specification 1943 dated bnz (Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, Steyr) made MP40. This is the classic WWII German submachine gun firing the 9mm Luger round and fitted with a folding stock, it was an incredibly inovative piece of engineering, its influence can still be seen in many post war weapons.. A beautifully made example with an original aluminium vehicle rest as opposed to the more common Bakelite examples and its original leather sling. Profusly Nazi WaA stamped. This would make a worthy addition to any WWII collection. Deactivated in 1990 with a full working action it can cocked, stripped and dry fired.
