WWI Vickers machine gun in transit case. After its serviceable life this weapon has been marked for drill purpose and would haven been used to train budding machine gunners how to strip and operate the weapon. Marked in several places V.S.M (Vickers Sons and Maxim) also broad arrow and ordnance stamps.
The old lady of no mans land has been deactivated and comes with a 1943 dated tripod, hose and transit case. Cocks and dry fires. A great display piece and would make a great centrepiece to a collection. Deactivated in 1993 with a working action.
