Deactivated Russian 7.62 calibre RPD light machine gun, with box magazine belt. An excellent example of this superbly designed and dependable weapon.
Designed in 1944 this weapon replaced the DP light machine gun and saw action in many conflicts including Korea and Vietnam, until it's not altogether welcome replacement, by the RPZ.
A great display item in excellent condition with it's canvas bag.
