Deactivated 1944 dated MG34 light machine gun in excellent condition. Nazi marked. A great display item. Deactivated with a full working action it can be cocked stripped and dry fired. The MG34 was the first successful general-purpose machine-gun ever introduced. It was originally designed by Mauser according to Waffenamt specifications. Introduced in 1934 and manufactured until the end of the second world war it is a superbly well engineered weapon made to very high tolerances and this was its downfall, it made it too slow to manufacture and prone to stoppages in adverse conditions. This gun can be broken in the middle this allowed the barrel to be changed as they would get very hot. An excellent example comes with its Nazi marked drum magazine.
