Deactivated 1944 dated MG34 light machine gun in excellent condition. Profusely Nazi marked. A great display item. Deactivated with a full working action it can be cocked stripped and dry fired. The MG34 was the first successful general-purpose machine-gun ever introduced. It was originally designed by Mauser according to Waffenamt specifications. Introduced in 1934 and manufactured until the end of the second world war it is a superbly well engineered weapon made to very high tolerances and this was its downfall, it made it too slow to manufacture and prone to stoppages in adverse conditions.
A superb looking matching numbers example. Cocks strips, dry fires and breaks in the centre.
