Deactivated WWII Lanchester Submachine gun this is an early MK1 example and comes with its correct 50 round magazine and 1944 dated bayonet and leather scabbard. Deactivated with full working action can be stripped, cocked and dry fired. These weapons were more or less a direct copy of the German MP28 submachine gun. Issued to the British Navy and also used by the RAF for guarding aerodromes.
