First World War 1915 dated Erfurt made German Kar 98 Rifle. This is the daddy of the WWII K98 and was issued to German Storm troopers and mounted troops during the First World War. It is shorter than the standard Gew 98 and therefore was easier to handle on trench raiding missions. It has all matching numbers and lots of imperial stamps. These rifles are even rarer than the scarce Gewehr 98 and would make a great addition to any collection.
