All black original finish manufactured by by Metallwarenfabrik Spreewerk, Berlin-Spandau The wartime code cyq is stamped on the receiver along with P38 and Nazi stamps. Original brown grips with WaA stamps on the inside. An excellent display piece. Deactivated with a working action. This was the gun that replaced the Luger as the standard German officers sidearm.
