Deactivated WWI WWII .303 Enfield P14 Rifle fitted with pre-1916 Lee-Enfield type volley sight front sight, mounted on the left side of the stock, the diopter rear "volley" sight is mounted alongside the bolt release on the receiver. A Winchester made example in excellent condition. Brass butt disc is regimentally marked and there are stamps to the wooden stock. This is the type of weapon seen in Dads Army they were issued along with the P17 to the British Home Guard . The P14 is a British design, based on a German Mauser action, manufactured in America! An excellent collectors piece.
