The Walther MP series of submachine guns was developed by Karl Walther company in 1963. This family included 2 weapons MPL (Machinen Pistole Lang - Long Submachine gun) and MPK (Machinen Pistole Kurz - Short Submachine gun). This example is the MPK. It is in near mint condition and comes in its original Walther box with sling original Walther instruction manual and test target. Deactivated in 1993 these submachine guns are fantastically rare in old spec, especially with its original box and manual. I have seen one example on sale for £1200.00 (without the box or manual)
These were used by German special forces, during the terrible terrorist massacre, at the Munich Olympics in 1972.
