The MG34 was the first successful general-purpose machine-gun ever introduced. It was originally designed by Mauser according to Waffenamt specifications. Introduced in 1934 and manufactured until the end of the second world war it is a superbly well engineered weapon made to very high tolerances and this was its downfall, it made it too slow to manufacture and prone to stoppages in adverse conditions.
This is a superb looking example with WaA Nazi stamps and a lovely deep blued finish, not to be confused with some of the MG34s on sale elsewhere. This is a WWII Nazi example and would make a fabulous display item. Deactivated with working action it can be field stripped and dry fired.
