Deactivated Black powder Italian made Colt Walker, model 1847 revolver. A superbly crafted weapon made from brass and blued steel. This is a massive revolver and weighs 4.75 lbs 2.15 Kilos has a 9" barrel and is 15.5" long. The black Powder charge was 50 to 60 grains. The ballistics were superior to any cartridge arm until the introduction of the .357 Magnum in 1935. A superb display item. Comes with its leather holster. Look at the last photograph to see the Walker and a normal Colt together........it's not a revolver....it's a Cannon!
