Enfield Mk. 1* variant of the .38 service revolver is distinguished by the hammer having no cocking spur. This simplified the mechanism as it was for double action shooting only. It was mainly used by tank crew members requiring a gun less likely to catch on the interior and hatch openings of their tanks. The excellent example comes with its 1941 dated holster.
