Very Rare Deactivated WWII Browning BSA .303 Machine Gun MKII* recovered from the a British Spitfire or Hurricane fighter which crashed into the English channel during WWII. This being an early wartime example dated 1939 with correct BSA production code B.34.158. Although it has suffered being crashed into channel, it is however in remarkable condition, and has been sensitively restored with much of its originality still in tact. The gun is still straight, most are bent or twisted from heavy impacts. Still in tact are the pneumatic values and forward bracket. This gun would have been housed, along with seven others (four per wing)and provided formidable fire power for both Spitfire and Hurricane.
