A lovely condition WWII Vickers MKI machine gun. Circa 1943 it is profusely broad arrow marked with an original wooden transit chest. Also included in this superb set is a matched upper and lower tripod (both serial numbered 1722), Foresight deflection bar, ammo box, 250 round Dunlop belt and wartime dated rounds. The tripod is dated 1940, ammunition box is dated 1942 with the makers initials RPL. The Dunlop 250 round canvas belt is dated 1943 with the makers name "Eyelets, Melb". Also included in a Foresight Deflection Bar dated 1942 with 1941 dated canvas pouch. Would make a fantastic centre piece to any collection. Deactivated with a full working action and will cock, strip and dry.
