Deactivated WW2 Long Branch Lee Enfield No4 MKI Rifle

This is a WWII Lee Enfield No4 MKI* .303 rife. Manufactured in 1943, it was made by Long Branch under the Lend Lease agreements whereby US & Canadian arms companies supplied Britain with weapons for the war effort. Many of these rifles failed to make it to Europe due to the heavy losses inflicted on merchant shipping by German U-boats, thankfully this one made it!. They were issued to British and Commonwealth forces and used on all fronts during the war. Deactivated with a working action.
