Product Information

This is an early WWII dated Webley & Scott No3 MK1 Flare/Signal Pistol with regimental markings. Dated 1940 with all matching numbers and is broad arrow marked. On the back of the pistol grips are the initials "11 A.D. 43", this is believed to be an abbreviation the British 11th Arnoured Division, weapon number 43 or 1943? The 11th A.D. was created in 1941 seeing extensive service after the D-Day landings in Normandy. The pistol grip design is taken from the WWI Webley MK6 .455 revolver pattern as are the grips and lanyard hoop. The No3 was used by British and Commonwealth ground forces throughout the war. The overall finish and damage to the grips are indicative of a pistol that has seen active service.

Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.

This pistol is available and is currently at the proof house being certificated.
