Product Information

A very interesting Russian M1895 Nagant revolver. Although dated 1941, this is in fact a First World War manufactured gun. Firstly it has the early straw blued highly polished hammer, trigger, loading gate and barrel retaining rod assembly. Secondly it only works off single action (only seen of WW1 M1895s), and finally there is a slight drop in the surface near the date stamp. When the Tula factory reworked this revolver the old WW1 markings were removed and the WW2 stamps applied. Germany invaded Russia in 1941, desperately short of serviceable weapons, Russian forces were equipped with any useable weapon. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
