A lovely condition WWII Vickers MKI machine gun. The serial number dates to 1941 and profusely broad arrow marked on all parts. Comes complete with tripod, sight bracket, ammo box, water can with hose plus barrel jacket, 250 round belt and wartime dated rounds. The tripod is dated 1943, Ammunition box is dated 1942,  Dunlop 250 round canvas belt is dated 1943 with wartime dated inert .303 rounds. Also included in a dial sight bracket fitted to the left hand side of then gun . Marked FTR MA/52 meaning Factory Though Repair Munitions Australia 1952, a good indication of service use. One of the best example we have seen. Would make a fantastic centre piece to any collection. Deactivated in 1995 to old specifications with a full working action and will cock, strip and dry.
