Very Rare Deactivated Old Spec Sten MKV These weapons were used by airborne troops at Arnham and are fitted with a wooden stock and pistol grip, and fore grip. The early MK5's were manufactured using modified parts. A good example of this is the magazine housing. It is stamped Sten MKII, and above MKV . It also has the sling hoop on the top of the stock, this would indicate use by Airbourne troops or Commando's. The magazine has also been shortened, possible to make the gun more compact when parachuting or as a special requirement for the user. This is a museum worthy example of the best looking Sten ever made. Deactivated very sympathetically it is fully strippable.with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired. The magazine housing can be swivelled in order to keep dirt from entering the ejection port. Price to be confirmed.
